Cindy Crosby. I love it! I think the 2 losses to Pittsburg had a bit to do with some of these moves, among other things. We have to be able to roll 4 lines out on the ice every game. I thought it was our Achilles heal last year against the Devils in the ECF. They wore us down with a relentless Forcheck. We have to be able to beat Pittsburg & Boston to go anywhere this year. If Miller &/or Mashinter don't pan out, the Rangers can send them back to the AHL to get more experience. If there are injuries to key players we need these kids to come up again and be ready to play mins in the NHL. Miller will most likely play on the 4th line so he doesn't need to score that much. Just play solid D and help ware down the other teams defenseman by pinning them in there zone. Last year Prust, Boyle & Fedotenko were good at keeping the other teams top line in there zone for the whole shift.

Why is it that an article about a good prospect being promoted to the Rangers has to be turn into a discussion about Crosby ? The world does not revolve around the Penquins.

Now that the Rangers traded Rupp, now Coach Tortorella can roll four lines. Now the Rangers have speed to create match up problems with the Penguins. That's why the Islanders are beating the Penguins, is by their speed and forechecking. It's the Penguins weakness. Cindy Crosby can be beaten by quicker and speeder players. Matching Cindy with smaller quicker players, she can easily fake penalties.

The Rangers will call up JT Miller for 5 NHL games. It provide him experience as a Rookie along with filling a void with Cally out. The Rangers are kicking the tires with him. It's perfect timing. Has anybody noticed, the Rangers have three Junior gold medalist. Kneider, Stephan, and JT Miller. Wow! The Rangers have a very bright future. All three players were key contributors to their teams winning the gold medal.

I really can't wait to see this kid play in the NHL. Though I must say its a bit of a strange move by the Rangers to bring him up given that Torts seem to be afraid that the Rangers were already rushing Kreider. Miller has just as little professional experience, and hasn't gone through the Rangers full camp, which is something Torts talked about when it came to reasons to send Kreider back down.

So someone needs to explain why they are bringing Miller up, when on paper they are doing the same thing with him they have very recently said they didn't want to do with Kreider. I guess this must be a case of "Don't let the ideal prevent the necessary".

I don't like this move. But that's because I'm a Pens fan.

Honestly I think this kid can be good. Whether it's rushing him or not, time will tell.
