i’m not so sure… Hall & Eberle both start their $6M cap hit contracts next year and Gagner & Whitney will be FAs. Then a bunch more are RFA/UFA the year after, and a lot of them will likely be in line for raises. They could be awesome in the next few years but the management will have to loosen the purse strings significantly…

the sharks didnt win…they survived…oilers had them dead to right in overtime …dubnyk stoned them late in ot ….oilers came in on a mission to beat…not upset..but beat san jose after they (the oil) got punked out on national tv (tsn) in there much hyped home opener….no bias as an oiler fan but this will be one scary team in about 2 yrs…and i guranDAMNtee it …we will make the playoffs no lower than 6th this year
