After the fights, saw Vinny Prospal step up to the ref as the lecture was delivered; and I noticed he had the ‘A’ on the sweater. There are no ‘C’s on the Jackets roster, are there? The front office can be (and should be) blamed for many sins, but on the ice, where’s the leadership?

Wonder if John Davidson is regretting taking the job with Priest and Howson still in place yet? Poor guy will become another sacrificial lamb the Jackets will fire with the promise that the next guy up will “fix everything”.

Blues dominated in the first, then got sloppy. Luckily, the Blue Jackets haven’t figured out how to play together yet. So, when does that coach get fired? With the amount of talent on this team, there is no reason that this guy should still have a job. They have a good, young nucleus that, with the right coaching, should have success for years to come. Didn’t they have a Stanley Cup winning coach in their management team?

Oh yeah, that was Hitchcock. Look at the Blues for a recipe for how to build a winner. They’ve got the young nucleus. Now they just need a leader worth his salt.
