Talk about everything coming back to Crosby, every other comment you make somehow relates to Giroux. He was asked a direct question about his surgically repaired wrists, he gave an answer. Being a Pens fan it’s beyond hypocritical to accuse others of whining. That being said, the Rangers weren’t given a disproportionate amount of penalties. If they could hit the net instead of the post it could have been a different outcome.

Not the strongest effort out of the Blueshirts I’ve seen but good teams can occasionally put up stinkers… that happens.

Takeaways on the Rangers: They’re still a good defensive team but I begin to wonder if they have a bit too much invested in shot blocking? By definition if you’re emphasizing shot blocking you’re not putting as much emphasis on closing out on guys and stopping the shots in the first place.

Takeaways on the Pens: Good to see that the team of the last 5-7 days is not indicative of this team’s true character. Very solid performance. Also happy to see a great effort out of Vokoun – I think he and Fleury are going to be a very solid tandem this year. I don’t think they’re Elliot and Halak but it’s nice that they can split up the time and focus on bringing everything they have night in and night out.

We agree on one thing – the refs were horrible. But the refs didn’t cost NY anything…the Pens got just as many bad calls as the Rangers.

Not sure what game you were watching for the rest of your thoughful insight, but one thing is for sure – it doesn’t seem like you were able to take your eyes off of Sid all night. You sound like Giroux, for gad’s sake…everything comes back to Sid. Boooooooo Hooooooooo….

With all due respect to Coach Tortorella, you been OUT coached again. As for Lundqvist, he’s looked below average. In every game so far this year, the opposing team goaltender has out played him. Even in the last Philadelphia game. Rupp, Asham, and Boyle should be scratched for the next few games. In fact, Rupp needs to find J.Shelly’s jock strap or retire. He’s just taking up space on the bench.

As for Rick Nash and his $7.8 million salary, 1 goal (in garbage time) 5 assist might explain why he belongs back in Columbus. The team lacks chemistry, depth, and the desire to work hard throughout the game. The opposing teams don’t fear the Rangers anymore. The NY Rangers defense has been marginal at best. Can anyone else score other than Gaborik? It’s embarrassing. Can someone find Stepan and Hagelin? They may have been Kidnapped, because their game has been lost on the ice.

Franchise is still on pace for 45-3. Led by a stable of purebred Clydesdales. Geno Sour Cream Pringles with the game winner less than 90 seconds in, typical stuff for someone who is so used to winning championships. Not like those whiney rags announcers. They really lost all hope and dignity after the brilliant deflection by that head and shoulders model. Don’t forget the breakaway that Sid felt sorry for Lundy and missed on purpose. Marc Staal threw a hissy fit on Pringles cause he got beasted off the puck by a champion.

That game had more whistles than a tea kettle factory.
Malkin scores early, and the rest of the game was ice the puck, offsides, hand pass, hit the cameraman between the bench with a puck in the head, watch Cindy whine cause DelZ had the nerve to check him, watch Cindy interfere with Lundqvist, and watch Cindy slew foot Gaborik.
As for anyone else on the ice, the zebras sucked, and the Blueshirts forgot to set their alarms and were really still sleeping from their afternoon naps.
Worse game I have watched in years.
