Ummm, you don't follow Flames hockey much do you? Flames have multiple owners. And it's widely known that it's Flames ownership that refuse to approve a trade involving Iginla which would lead to a full blown rebuild. I don't think Feaster has done an amazing job since he's taken over. But considering with what Sutter left him, I think he's done a decent job including and especially replenishing our prospect cupboard.

Jay Feaster is one of the most genuinely nice guys I have ever met. I sat with him countless times at the Ice Palace (later to be named the St. Pete Times Forum) during fan allowed practices and he'd sit there and chat hockey, life, road stories, talk about his Hershey days, etc. Just an awesome person in NHL. That 04 team was special. Tons of heart. I think they could've won another if it wasn't for the lockout.

This is the architect of the destruction of the Flames. He refuses to rebuild when everyone and their mother can see that's exactly what the team needs. So they will flounder until the stupid owner gets his head on straight and gets rid of this doofus and hires a GM who knows how to strip it down and build it back up slowly.
