Flames have multiple owners. And it’s widely known that it’s Flames ownership that refuse to approve a trade involving Iginla which would lead to a full blown rebuild. I don’t think Feaster has done an amazing job since he’s taken over. But considering with what Sutter left him, I think he’s done a decent job including and especially replenishing our prospect cupboard.

I sat with him countless times at the Ice Palace (later to be named the St. Pete Times Forum) during fan allowed practices and he’d sit there and chat hockey, life, road stories, talk about his Hershey days, etc. Just an awesome person in NHL. That 04 team was special. Tons of heart. I think they could’ve won another if it wasn’t for the lockout.
