Look jackass, if you’re gonna call me an idiot at least have a better reason than Flyers fans often think players would fit on their team. First off, Briere isn’t playing center and Schenn has been struggling at the position so he could be shifted back to wing. So their depth down the middle isn’t great at the moment. Second, the Flyers and Kings have a history of making deals. The two organizations are intertwined, there’s a reason the Kings are often referred to as “Flyers West”. Lombardi has an excellent relationship with Holmgren. And why do Flyers fans think players would be good fits… because the majority of the time the Flyers ARE in on discussions for players. Even if it’s just Holmgren doing his due diligence and making a call. Did I say the Flyers are going to acquire Loktionov? NO. Have there been any rumors linking the two teams? NO, I said I wouldn’t mind it if there was. If he can’t find playing time on a deep Kings roster then maybe he could on an injury-riddled Flyers roster. He’s a talented player. Is it a mortal sin that I said I would like to see him in a Flyers uniform? I’d also like to see Anze Kopitar and Drew Doughty in orange and black. It has no bearing on reality and I know that. Just relax and think yourself before you start throwing around baseless accusations about my intelligence. It reflects poorly on you.

Bernier should get more time in the condensed schedule. A great 2nd goalie is a reason LA could possibly repeat.

I’ve got to agree with you!!! I seem to see this same comment with every player!!! Them and most of the “North of the border teams’ Mon & Tor fans, same thing!!! The thing with Phili is, they never have cap space!!! There always right at the cap, or when they trade or grab a player, it’s a must that they rid a few players just so the new one can fit!!! If there GM would get just a little smarter when it comes to signing Goaltenders, the team might have some cap space!!! But that has been a problem forever with the Flyers!!!

Well when you read every article in the past month about possible player trades or RFAs, at least one idiot Flyer fan going on about how “they could see X player on the Flyers”… it get’s tiresome. I wouldn’t mind seeing Loktionov in a Flyers uniform. He’s unproven but skilled. Eventhough we have enough of those forwards the Flyers and Kings have a history of making moves. And we need a spark. Maybe Holmgren can get his buddy Lombardi to give him up for a mid-round pick.
