I’m a Sharks fan, and I know as well as anybody that Marleau has had some crummy playoff series during his career, but can we stop acting like he is the worst playoff performer ever? Stop getting headlines from Roenick. All sorts of different parts of these Sharks teams haven’t shown up at times in the playoffs over the years- it isn’t all his fault.

Remember, goose eggs against the Blues and similar past playoff performances. He always dominates during the regular season, but when teams start to seriously gap up on him and check him tougher during the playoffs forcing him to really compete for his offense, he usually disappears. Hopefully he flips the script this playoff season, but I would contain my excitement until then.

I definitely think we have Larry Robinson to thank for that. It’s great to see all of them out there playing for each other & backing each other up. They’ve always given me a reason to doubt them in the past, but if they stay consistent I really think we could see the Stanley Cup in SJ this year. Can’t wait for the game next Tuesday, then we’ll get to see who the better team in the West really is this year!
