Anaheim whooped Vancouver at their house with a whopping 5 goal advantage.

Vancouver then responded and did the same to Anaheim, spoiling their opener.

way too early to see if Schneider will be able to carry this play.

And Mason Raymond could have done a better job keeping his neck out of the way of Getzlafs crosschecks

Ducks deserved every penalty..and still got away with some vicious plays.

Schneider made some shutout worthy saves in the early going and late final frame. One of the most “well spread” canucks efforts in quite a while; sedins get 2 points each and you’d hardly know. super physical from get go and Anaheim was really undisciplined but the reffing blew and favoured van in the first half before Anaheim started playing stupid.

Not a fan of either teams, but its been a while since I’ve seen a one-sided game. Anaheim could have done a better job in staying out of the box, but the zebras definitely could have done a better job regarding calls as well. I guess both teams can call it quits on a ruined home-opener. o(^!^)o !
