Moving forward many will look at his save percentage last night and claim he played poorly. You can bet the writer did not even watch the game and had his tone decided well in advance.

I did not see any soft goals and he made a few good saves. If he can play at least this well on a consistent basis and stay healthy, it would be a great benefit to the franchise. He might, at minimum, help transition Poulin and Nilsson into the NHL.

Chara’s goal was a complete screen. Bergeron’s goal was a breakaway move that seems to work every time. Can’t say DiPietro played bad, the Isles were just outplayed in the 3rd period.
