How is it a bad call if his skate is tangled with Quick's pad? If Quick is tangled on the side of the crease and can't move over to cover the empy net, how is that not interference?
Either watch the play or learn the game.
He got his team to play pretty good hockey last spring, don't you think?
How did Edmonton do in the playoffs last spring?
Trying getting there first!

There should have been a penalty on Ganger on that sequence. He got stuck in Quick's pads instead of moving away. Yes, he got pushed a little bit, but not hard enough for him to avoid interfering with Quick. The refs made the right call disallowing the goal but I don't understand why Ganger wasn't sent to the box

LA would've probably won the game had there been a penalty.

I did not see the play but I just wanted to point out that goaltender interference does not only apply when a goaltender is in his crease.

69.1 Interference on the Goalkeeper - This rule is based on the premise that an attacking player’s position, whether inside or outside the crease, should not, by itself, determine whether a goal should be allowed or disallowed. In other words, goals scored while attacking players are standing in the crease may, in appropriate circumstances be allowed. Goals should be disallowed only if: (1) an attacking player, either by his positioning or by contact, impairs the goalkeeper’s ability to move freely within his crease or defend his goal; or (2) an attacking player initiates intentional or deliberate contact with a goalkeeper, inside or outside of his goal crease. Incidental contact with a goalkeeper will be permitted, and resulting goals allowed, when such contact is initiated outside of the goal crease, provided the attacking player has made a reasonable effort to avoid such contact.

Again I don't have any particular opinion about that call but I just wanted to point out that a player can be called with goaltender interference no matter where the goaltender happened to be when he was hit or obstructed.

@ron not bitter at all! Just a hockey fan being confused by bad officiating. Everyone saw quicks reaction which changed their mind about the goal.

How can the Kings possibly be complaining about officiating after that horrid call reversal that wiped away a tying goal with 65 seconds remaining in a game?????

I was so glad the Oilers found a way to win this game I was absolutely livid while watching this on Gamecenter last night.

Daryl Sutter - cry-baby. Get your team playing better hockey instead of blaming refs who basically handed you the game and you still couldn't come away with it.

heres an idea kings. how about instead of complaining about the refs, play some offense and score goals. we are 2nd to last in goals scored (4) and 2nd to last on the power play.
mike richards- 0 goals
dustin brown - 0 goals
anze kopitar - 0 goals
justin williams - 0 goals
the list goes on and on. this is pathetic. stop complaining about the refs and worry about what really matters. our 2 best defenders are out so we need to score some goals to compensate for that and obviously were not doing it.

i've definitely noticed some slack in the officials work so far this season.

maybe i'm just bitter about that Flyers goal they blew the whistle on in that Buffalo game. but for real, seems there's way too many bad calls in almost every game i've watched this season.
