Fwiw they had Bruce McNall on yesterday and they asked him about Gretzky being linked to any team (Gretzky and McNall are still tight and talk regularly) McNall said that Gretzky is still pretty upset with the NHL about how the whole Phoenix thing went down and that he currently has no interest in rejoining the league in any capacity. McNall did say that he thinks one day Gretzky might eventually have a role with the Kings franchise.
