We’re not all like that. As glad as I am that we don’t have to see Hartnell (can we stop with the childish name games?) for a while, I don’t wish injury on any player. Hope it’s not serious, but I suggest he rests it a loooooooooooooooong time to be safe.

He’s played well – but I still think he’s a complimentary piece from an offensive perspective. Couple Flyguy fans who are buddies of mine believe Simmonds is in the mold of Hartnell but I don’t know that he’s a 30 goal scorer (I know that sounds kind of harsh given his age/tallies last year, but call it a hunch).

Giroux is Giroux, and I’m sure you’re praying Briere picks up where he left off from the playoffs, but I think you guys need to add a piece on the wing if Hartnell is going to be out more than a month with this foot injury.

I love fans making reference to the standings after only 2-3 games played for every team. Makes sense when your 0-3 and you have a 16 game season makes very little sense when you play 48 games. I’m sure none of the other teams will go on 2-3 game losing streaks at all this year. Then again fans now rush basketball courts after a regular season win on a Monday night so I guess hoping for any semblance of intelligence and reason amongst this what have you done lately crowd is futile.
