Here’s hoping Lucic doesn’t do something dumb (again) and get himself a de-facto game misconduct for not going to the bench and continuing to take Rupp’s mouthing-off bait. Lucic has a habit of letting his emotions get in the way at exactly the wrong times.

Looking forward to another victory, that last could have easily been 6-1, but Henrik was a wall like usual. Where were all you Rangers fans that told me on these boards how they were going to pound the bruins?

Rivalry or not, it’s always a treat when the Rangers and Bruins tangle. Original 6 goodnessw with a little Boston/New York hate as spice. Thank God, the NHL is back.

both these teams are irrelevant compare to the franchise. as usually we start out the best team in the nhl. cant wait to bring crosbys cup back to the only city that matters!

The Bruins and Rangers haven’t been a rivalry since the early 70′s. Silly to play up that angle. As a 44 year old Bruins fan with season tix since 1991 I can tell you there’s no rivalry here. I actually don’t mind them. Far more hate for the likes of MTL-Buff-Philly.

How did no one notice that under injuries it listed the Rangers from New Jersey? That’s right, the pitt fans were too busy oiling each other up in daisy dukes in the steel mill and talking about Kreider. Funny seeing as a stiff breeze would put Crosby out and if he had taken that hit he wouldn’t be playing for another 6 months. Enjoy scrambled egg brain Sid while you can.

omg, This is NOT a rivalry! I hate how the NHL is trying to copy MLB and the NFL with the boston vs new york thing. They have people fooled into thinking the Rags and Bs are in the same division. They didnt even play each other in the playoffs last year!
