Great game overall, first one I’ve had the chance to watch beginning-to-end this season. These aren’t the same old Blue Jackets- they look a lot better this year. Maybe losing Nash is what they needed? I recall the Thrashers (remember them?) suddenly playing overall better hockey after losing Kovalchuk years ago, they had to suddenly play a style that wasn’t “give Ilya the puck and watch him”. Maybe the same is going on here? Either way, they did a great job. Very pleased with the game, looking forward to another good one tonight.

Totally agree. I took pause when I saw the money line for CBJ being only a +105. Turns out Vegas verified their homework. That was a great game to watch. CBJ fans should be excited about their remaining season ahead.

Because it’s his first season in the NHL after being touted as a great find in the Euro leagues. Often times players that are hyped up for being great in the Euro leagues don’t pan out very well in the NHL.

Fabian Brunnstrom anyone? He was chased by a bunch of teams before signing with Dallas. He starts with a hat trick his first game, then simply falls off a cliff. It’s this dynamic that has people paying attention to Brunner and how his play develops over the coming season.

Marvelous shot… and MUCH better game… well last two periods… from the Red Wings.

I don’t mean just the win… I mean the EFFORT, intensity… and HITTING!
