They looked slow and weak the past two games, same as they did down the stretch last year. We’ve been assuming the Rangers are a legit Cup contender, but last year they were a pretty big surprise with how much they won, and they may simply revert to a mean this year. Can’t count it out. On paper they’re very talented so should swing out of this eventually but you really never know.

A 0-2 hole isn’t the end of the world for the Rangers since they have such a good team. If they were a so-so team, it would be more of an issue. Still though, an 0-3 hole would be a problem and the sooner they win, the sooner they might be able to build a little confidence.
