Honestly, for all the bragging we've heard all summer...now how quickly it turns into a bunch of spoiled brats throwing senseless temper tantrums over NATIONALLY TELEVISED games that we ALL saw....why even bother with the crying?

The refs were fine, the Cryers played like sh*t. They are not tough...they are dirty. They are not "gritty"...they are dirty. They pride themselves on it, the fans love to see the dirty stuff, the late hits, the cheap shots, the slew foots, because the damn team hasn't one a cup since '75. The city of Philadelphi has lost respect for the game of hockey - kind of like how a 60 year old pervert loses respect for women and starts treating them badly when he can't get any. And trust me little man - if that cup is a woman YOU WON'T GET ANY.

But what do you care, really? All any of you really want is for Crosby to be injured, and for several other top-notch players to get hurt by your dirty cross-checks and slewfoots, after the play hits, etc....it shows you that those morons are "tough"...grow up, Philadelphia.

instead of complaining about the refs cant we just agree even if those two goals were allowed you still would have lost to buffalo. Your pp and pk were garbage today you got beat to every puck and ott and myers took this game over. Buffalo will be a thorn in a lot of teams sides this year. And vanek beat your team by himself

I agree that the Flyers need work- Special teams 0ppg, 50% pk doesn't cut it, but this game showed the refs are really crappy. Waived off the first period goal for phantom interference without noticing Fedetenko was getting hooked (the same hooking call was made against the Flyers later. When they sent Hartnell & Myers off with neither one committing a penalty-piss poor. Waived off the third period goal because he lost sight of it and blew the whistle. the reason he lost sight of it was because he was out of position. He stood over in the corner instead of getting behind the net (I've seen some refs climb on the net to be in position, not this fat bastard). I don't think there is any conspiracy against the Flyers but officiating had better improve before they make a great game unwatchable. I almost hated these officials as much as I hate Bettman (who is even more clueless). After sitting through the lockout, I expected better hockey from the Flyers (they haven't come through) but I didn't think that the refs would look this poor. There were many more objectionable calls, but it would take too long to list them, and I'm sure that the Buffalo fans have many to be pissed about too, but they'll let it go because they won. It is hard to overcome your own mistakes plus have two goals disallowed because the refs suck and win. The Flyers can screw the game away on their own (see Saturday) they don't need help.

Sports freak I'm a flyers fan and all I have to say to your retort is...hilarious. I'm not gonna make excuses for my team... Certainly not happy with the outcomes but when your pp goes 0-5 the day before snd your pk is garbage at some point you have to look at your roster and blame the players...how many pipes did they hit in the last 20 mins yesterday? How many stupid penalties did they take today? The refs blew both calls but our team didn't step up when it was needed. That's the reason the flyers are 0-2.

thetruth is a special kind of crazy for sure. I can't take people seriously when they capitalize RANDOMLY to make a point, or don't fully spell out said.

I do think the first goal waved off for interference was questionable, Miller probably embellished the contact. I fully agree with the second call. Refs are supposed to blow the whistle when they lose sight of the puck. End of play, that's it. It's bitten every team. I don't think the puck ever fully crossed the line anyways, still seemed to be right on it, but that doesn't matter.

More humility and class from a Pens fan. You're on a Flyers thread doing nothing more than instigating arguments with Flyers fans. Bottom line is there isn't a fanbase in hockey that doesn't complain after a loss, especially when it's warranted. If you think I'm being a homer when I say the Flyers had two disallowed goals:

John Wawrow of the AP:
"The Flyers had two goals disallowed. The first one, scored by Ruslan Fedotenko in the first period, was waved off after referee Steve Kozari ruled Fedotenko had bumped Miller before the puck went in. The second came in the final minutes, when officials ruled the whistle had blown before the puck dribbled over the goal line." It's reality, not whining.

More humility and class from a Pens fan. You’re on a Flyers thread doing nothing more than instigating arguments with Flyers fans. Bottom line is there isn’t a fanbase in hockey that doesn’t complain after a loss, especially when it’s warranted. If you think I’m being a homer when I say the Flyers had two disallowed goals:

John Wawrow of the AP:
“The Flyers had two goals disallowed. The first one, scored by Ruslan Fedotenko in the first period, was waved off after referee Steve Kozari ruled Fedotenko had bumped Miller before the puck went in. The second came in the final minutes, when officials ruled the whistle had blown before the puck dribbled over the goal line.” It’s reality, not whining.

Yes because the Pens organization is the model for rational thought and impartial humility. You would never ever make a peep about any missed calls, it's below you. The fans, players, and front office of the Pittsburgh Penguins are the most aloof, cocky front-runners in hockey. It's not the Flyers that have been called the biggest whiners in league by national pundits, coaches, and players alike. You can call us "Cryers" all you want but that doesn't change the FACT that there were two disallowed goals in what was a close game.

i have nerve damage from falling into the bords frome ice hockey, and since i have been watching sports my whole life, and my dad had a masters in business. why i have the knowledge of what is going on with the league and the revenue. and how the leagues make there money and loose it. what i have realized is that most people dont have experience in business and sports like i do. cause either they are to young, drunk (stupid, cause alcohol kills creative thinking, why the nfl runs alcohol sales religiously) or just close minded to not see that the flex in the rule books of each sport is them creating action and sales. which is so desperately needed to keep there sport in the forfront of the good old usa. and why i just got a screen blocker on my computer for saying this cause they are trying to shut me up right now, cause i have learned, ppl dont want to hear the truth, they would rather hear/watch a exciting lie
