PHT’s Morning Skate takes a look around the world of hockey to see what’s happening and what we’ll be talking about around the NHL world and beyond.

That Carcillo link is a joke, right? I’m afraid of getting Rick Roll’d if I click it.

People always talk about goons in Philly and the Broad St Bullies but Carcillo is one goon I never want to see again. Holmgren traded fan favorite Scottie Upshall AND and 2nd round pick for his rat stache and told us Philadelphia would love him. We didnt. The dude is a scumbag and whatever talent he has, he’s wasting. Completely unpredictable, uncoachable, loose cannon. Probably the dumbest hockey player I’ve ever watched. Never seen someone with such a penchant for ill-timed penalties and fights. Glad he’s Chicago’s problem now.

Weird seeing Jordan Staal in Canes jersey.

Can’t believe that rat Carcillo will be taking Stalberg’s minutes in the top 6 at even strength. Way to stunt the growth of a top-6 caliber forward coming off his best season with over 20 goals, Joel.
