Yes I think the Oilers will do well this season as well as make the playoffs. Now if the owners would spend a little money to pick up a couple of D’men and then get a goalie from the Wild they might really make some noise come playoff time.

I think St. Louis will be the top regular season team but I haven’t been impressed with their playoff performances in previous years, so I don’t believe they will go all the way. I believe the WCF will be Vancouver – LA, with my money on LA (unfortunately).

If everything clicks again the Kings could very well repeat. I know Detroit has taken a step back but I always find it hard to count them out. Seems to me that the West is as wide open as it has ever been in recent memory, especially with the short season.
