Well lets see, last season, Geno as you guys like to call him, scored 1.33 points per game durig the season but FADED to 1.19 in the playoffs. Briere on the other hand, scored 0.7 ppg during the season but improved to 1.18 ppg during the playoffs. And just so you know, this is exactly the trend for both players for their careers. Briere's ppg goes up in the playoffs while Malkins gets worse. Numbers dont lie my friend, despite what your biased eyes tell you.

Danny has always been slightly above average during the regular season and a superstar in the playoffs. He just gets amped for the postseason. It'd be nice to see a little more consistency during the regular season but it beats having a guy who's a superstar during the reg season but fades away in the playoffs *cough* Malkin *cough*

Yeah I agree - never had any ill will towards Briere (save the fist pump after his goals - but that's more of a "me" problem than a "him" problem). He DECIMATED us in the first round of the playoffs last year, but I still want him on the ice for the opener - playing a rival without their best players isn't fun.

Just make sure he keeps his head up leaving his zone :)

When is he not good in the playoffs?

If they could find a way to convince him every game was in the postseason he'd be top 5 in the league.

Good for briere. As a pens fan since the drafting of Lemieux I've had a disdain for that team, but a briere is a small guy who plays a tough game around the net. I give him props.
