According to an article on the Pens website, he arrived in Pittsburgh at 4:00 am (he had been in Montreal for 2 days since arriving back from Russia and worked out with some Canadian players) and still hit the ice at the Penguins informal skating session that began at 11:00 am. I was at the practice, and he was flying during the drills, out-manuervering everyone on the ice.

Maybe looking at the full post practice scrum which is on the Penguins home page would have helped, instead of grabbing a couple quotes from the Trib article.
