This past year was his first ever as the starting goalie from day 1.
I am a Crawford fan but those soft goals should never have happened. I’m really looking for a better year from him but it will take having an important game on the line (I guess they ALL will be this year!) & being left out to dry by his team, to see if the mental toughness is really there or not. Last year it wasn’t there against the Yotes.

It really disappoints me that while hes been a stable goaltender, he just cannot handle the pressure.

I feel like pressure situations you either have, or you don’t. I am not saying ditch Corey, but going into this season with him say being the Hawks full time starter….. It concerns me.

What upset me the most (as I’m sure most hawks fan can agree with) is that he gave them up when big games were on the line. Phoenix anyone? I don’t think the scrutiny on him would be as bad if we were up 4-0 in some of those games and he gave one up.
