Who’s this guy was he at the front-office last year LOL

Nice to see him retire after still a good season. Most players keep playing and playing and don’t get any better but just believe if i can skate i can still make the team.
Lidstrom is a class player who will be remembered by his quality, no need for maybe a below Lidtsrom-average last season. He’s no Chris Chelios that kept skating till nobody wanted him anymore.

If you want to do it this season, do it for the Wings first playoff game. If you want to wait, do it on opening night next season. Nicky Lidstrom is the definition of professional, and I think one of those two scenarios would suit him perfectly. Enjoy retirement, Nick. You truly deserve it!
