Here’s a good comparison – Kris Letang, who has far more offensive and defensive ability, is a far better skater, makes $3.5M/year.

Subban is worth 2.75M/year, 3 years, TOPS. Especially with the lower cap – GM’s can’t afford to pay now for what players “might” become in the future. He’s just not worth it right now.

Ouch Far too early for this type of money for a kid that has yet to prove his worth.Lots of questions,pros and cons that only time will tell what kind of player he will be.
I would say a 3 year 11 million would be fair for both sides and provide PK with the time to show what he can do.
