Sorry, Dominic, I genuinely am. I lost both of my parents to cancer in recent years so while I can’t say that I know exactly what you’re going through, I do know the pain and sadness of such a devastating loss.

I try to remember the words of George Harrison (another tragic victim of cancer) when he quoted the advice of the Mahareshi Mahesh Yogi in the aftermath of the death of the Beatles’ manager, Brian Epstein, “Try to keep your thoughts of (her) happy as those thoughts will travel to her wherever she is”

BTW, I am a long-standing Toronto Maple Leafs fan and I have to say that you were my favorite player at the time; I was so sad to see you go!

Hang in there, Dominic! Smile when you think of her.

People who do the thumbs down on stuff like this are usually kids who don’t have any life of their own and who are influenced by what they see on tv or school and have no idea what Dominic or his family went through at some point these people in their life they will find out….been there Dominic may his wife be at peace prayers for his family

I cannot imagine what I would do if I lost my wife; I know I’d be a permanent mess, that’s for sure. While he’s not a Blackhawk, I’ll be rooting for this guy from here on out and thinking positive thoughts for him and his family.

Wow…I just stared at the screen for a bit when I read it. Then I read it again. That’s really sad. Dominic Moore was one of my favorite players on the Lightning when he was in Tampa. He is a really nice guy and I’m sad to hear of his loss.

I have lost both my parents to forms of Cancer, it is a disease that shows no boundaries from the young to the old and all in between, I pray one day soon there will be a cure found for this illness such a horrible thing…
