As true fans we should boycott this season to teach Bettman & owners a lesson. Think of all the good that would come out of it. Bettman fired, at least 6 teams folding (thus increasing the quality of play by thickening the now thin talent pool), no more hockey in places where it does not belong like Columbus, Nashville, Tampa, etc. I have been a fan of the sport my whole life and the callous disregard of the NHL fan by the league and the players is too much. I love the game of hockey and will continue to support the Olympic teams and College Hockey, but in today’s economy I will not support greed, stupidity, and the way that nobody in this sport cares about the people that pay their salaries – us. The NHL will never see a dime of my hard-earned money again.

What do you mean who cares? Hockey’s back and I’m glad we can start paying attention to trivial stuff like this story and not the CBA.
