I personally think Holtby is the next great goal tender… Have had the opportunity to see him play multiple times for Hershey n he is on a whole different level feel free to send him are way… We’ll even throw in a nut case Russian goalie if you want lol….. Oooooh you’re right. Collapsing and blocking shots is how he had a .935% throughout the playoffs. Or how he made 44 saves against Boston in the Game 4 win. You do know you don’t get a save for a blocked shot?

On a more serious note, I, too, am anxious to see the system Oates brings in. I prefer a defensive-oriented team, but we need to let our scorers have the freedom to actually score.

Just bc they are bigger and crush teams doesn’t mean they are dirty. Plenty of big strong guys and speedy forwards. They are going to crush the league over the next 5 years. Maybe longer

My dad is a Bruins fan from the bobby orr era. I grew up worshiping adam Oates. ..bourque…neely… even loved sergei Samsonov…sweeney…moog…. but iv love this young Bruins team and their prospects. P.s I don’t live in Boston or mass.

umm no they won with four solid lines and balanced attacked with great goaltending. everyone knows Dale Hunters system is collapsing and blocking shots. I’ve been a fan for over 25 years. .. hence the Ray Bourque tribute. Just wait until the season starts with seguin hitting full form and dougie Hamilton dropping bombs from the point.
