I was so pissed as soon as I saw the “ticker” on the bottom of the screen with the final score of the game I was watching. Ever since than I DVR them in the morning and watch them as soon as I can.

And because the NHL channel can’t be trusted not to flash the final scores during the evening re-airs, I recommend recording the early AM broadcasts, and then avoid all hockey and Canadian media. One oddity of the Ufa venue is how they cleared out a section of seats (forgoing at least a dozen admissions) behind one net to present a bevy of cheerleaders who dance pretty much all game long.
