Bolstered by a handful of locked-out NHL stars, Canada has won the Spengler Cup for the first time since 2007, defeating host HC Davos today by a score of 7-2.
Ryan Smyth and John Tavares led the way with two goals each, while Patrice Bergeron had a goal and three assists. Other stars on the team included Jason Spezza, Tyler Seguin and Matt Duchene.
