How about a committee to recommend academic classes for the players on how to appreciate getting paid tons of money to play a game? You can’t bash the owners for the strike and pretend like the players are innocent in this. Both sides have gone way beyond just screwing things up royally, and every single person involved looks like a complete schmuck at this point.

I sincerely wish them luck, but it seems a little late to be setting up any committees to discuss anything after lobbing bombs at each other and flushing more than half the season to date. What is really needed is a committee to recommend academic classes on how to run a sports league. The owners keep making the same mistakes and blaming the players. Maybe both sides could move the discussions to Colorado or Washington and chill out with that aforementioned “joint” committee.
