The Canadian side was strong offensively, but lacked defensively for sure. RNH finished with five points, but was on the ice for all three German goals…ended up only +2. Unless they step up, they will have a hard time against the strong defensive teams in the tourney.

As a Canadian I am of course rooting for my country but if Suban plays goal against the Americans the way he played against the Germans the US will put up 8 goals on him also.

man…. been DVRing these games when they air early in the morning. been having a tough time not seeing who wins before i get the chance to watch. at least this one was easy to predict.

great game by USA but I wished we played Russia today and then the Germans tomorrow… will be a hard test playing back to back against a much stronger team. Hopefully the D plays tight and Galchenyuk keeps on rolling
