YOU PEOPLE ARE NOTHING BUT A BUNCH OF CHAMBERLAINS !

Fellow lovers of history like me will know only too well, that the last thing you do when all looks lost, is to cave in to defeat like British PM Neville Chamberlain did back in June of 1940. As you know, the weakling Chamberlain was then immediately replaced by the bulldog himself, Mister Winston Churchill. And then after the German onslaught had started, with dear England standing all alone and desperately fighting against the tyranny of Hitler and his formidable Luftwaffe, Churchill defiantly said … “Herr Hitler promised that in three weeks England would have her neck wrung like a chicken … well some chicken … some neck!”.

The bottom line friends is that when the going get’s tough, the tough always get going! This is so with every facet of our lives. And so it must be with our belief that there will be an NHL season. Stand by and be ready for January 19th @ 1500 hrs EST !

Fewer and fewer people even reading or commenting on anything NHL related anymore. The casual fans are already gone and the die hards are getting their hockey fix elsewhere.
