As a Wild fan I initially thought that this was our early Christmas present. As it turns out, due to the lockout, it was a cruel April Fools.

I still don’t buy the “what were they supposed to do.” Perhaps if Craig hadn’t been fighting nail and tooth against a system he willingly propagated. Exactly how does that create a healthy atmosphere? As if these polar attitudes go unnoticed? Business and its bottom line is to be expected, but look at the state of the game now when it becomes the only focus.

Suter and Parise new exactly what as going on when they signed these deals. The media was even talking about the potential for salary rollbacks when it happened.
