Not dirty, as his elbow was down, but a bit late. Should have been a 2 minute roughing penalty, however the fragile Euro was hurt, so he will get suspended.

He also cost the Canadians big time last year when he received 5 and a game for spearing vs. Russia. Might not be the sharpest knife in the drawer.

This has become a yearly tradition for the North American teams in this tourny. They deliver either a clean hit or one that should be a minor penalty and the Euro refs slap them with five and game.

This one was a bit late. Interference for sure, but a suspendable hit? I don’t think so. Unfortunately I’m not on the IIHF committee that will be deciding his fate.

That wasn’t terribly late by NHL standards (especially when you take into account that Jenner had lined him up and was moving in for the hit before the pass was made), but this isn’t the NHL. In the soft style of hockey such as the IIHF wants to force everyone to play, that’s probably a suspendable hit.

Someone needs to explain the rules to him. The hit was arguably clean but it was very late hit targeting an unsuspected player. IIHF gives away suspensions far too easier than NHL and i can see Jenner missing the whole tournament because of this suspensions. Especially now that its confirmed that resulted in injury to that player.
