You guys should rename this column “The Daily Whine”. Anyone else tired of the players’ “Woe is us” attitude? Get your crap together, tell Fehr to find a way to make a deal (he works for you guys, after all) and get back to the trappings of the NHL lifestyle if the alternative is so miserable. Enough already.

Only as much as I’m tired of hearing the NHL is waiting to hear from the NHLPA after they were the ones to break off talks last.

Try the last 3 times…..after spending less than 1.5 hours combined looking over the PA’s last three proposals. Fact is it’s the players who’ve already agreed to do all the giving. The owners are just mad that the PA won’t bend over while they’re at it like last time.

I don’t care who does the giving or getting. To hell with them both. I just want hockey back. If that means the players do all the giving fine. If it means the owners suck it up fine. They both make too much money, and will continue to make too much money no matter who “wins” negotiations.
