I have already replaced the NHL to the ECHL. its not the same talent, but you’d be shocked how many draft picks and NHLers are playing in the league right now. its awesome, Ryan Reaves, Devin Settagucci, Brandon Dubinski, Ryan Clowe, etc. the list goes on and on. It’s way better than the KHL, in my opinion. but then again I hate the euro-trash game they bring to North American Hockey.

For 30 bucks a month I get unlimited ECHL hockey on America One Sports online, including access to the Video On Demand archives of past games!!!

ps. I do not work for the ECHL, I am promoting it out of pure passion for my team, the Fort Wayne Komets, who are celebrating their 60th season with the legendary rink announcer Bob Chase!

Don’t let the NHL ruin your families Christmas! I know there is no way to explain this to the kids, but take them to your local AHL or ECHL teams games! The tradition lives on!

In the larger context of time, what you’re saying is very true. However individual people don’t live for thousands of years. Over a span of just 30 years, the Vietnamese people were attacked by some of the world’s premiere powers … Japan in ’41, French in ’54, US in ’67 … and they ultimately defeated them all. They are a very brave and resilient people and my hope is that this century will be kinder to them than the last one was.

Since we no hockey right now, watch the movie Downfall. The movie is excellent. Authentic, you’ll notice Sturmwher44′s (world’s first assault rifle)- used in the movie, along with real a Tiger tanks. Warning, it will upset you. Especially the death of innocent children and people. At the end, they interview Hitler’s secretary. Very interesting.

Sportsfan69 – That’s another piece which I’ve never seen before, so thanks for sharing. As you know, the French defeat at Dien Bien Phu marked the end of their “arrogant” presence in Indochina, just as the Americans would unfortunately experience later and just as the Japanese imperialists had experienced some years before. Even the Chinese learned in 1979 that is was probably best to avoid picking fights with the seemingly low yet resilient Vietnam. I’ve always sympathized with the Vietnamese people, as for some reason the last century was very unkind towards them ? And yet they’ve somehow always managed to persevere, despite the overwhelming odds which have been thrown against them.
