And that’s a shame, as there’s no question about the passion of the Coyote’s fan base, as small as it is. Nonetheless, I wish the best for you guys and hopefully you’ll be getting your banner-raising evening in fairly short order now. At least let’s hope, eh ?

Anyway, part of me wishes I was an NHL fan in a city like Phoenix, or at any rate a city where the sport was not thriving so much but was still going to be there for the long haul; a lot of lifetime fans have been priced out of going to games in places like Vancouver so while it’s great to watch the team on television knowing that they’ll spare no expense to put the best product on the ice, it can be rough justifying the going rate for a couple of tickets, parking, food, a couple of beers, etc.

Nothing wrong with legitimate hockey fans in places where there aren’t enough of them.. there just, well, aren’t enough of them.

do you think it’s right that Maple leaf/Habs/Sens/Flames/Oilers/Jets/Canucks fans have to pay $100+ dollars for the worst ticket in the house when people who don;t really care only have to pay a fraction of the price? i don’t .. this is the problem
