I totally believe that if Murray had the rights the a McKinnon he wouldn’t dare hold him back from playing team Canada. That being said, the Oilers are fools for allowing RNH to try to play.

It’s pretty ridiculous for NHL teams to be intervening on things like this during the lockout. I would imagine the player would prefer to be playing on the world stage, I sincerely doubt that two weeks away from his AHL team will compromise his development and I would go out on a limb and suggest that he is in no way helping the Ottawa Senators organization *right now* whether he’s in the AHL or the WJC..
