Ian Mendes thinks that even if the 2012-13 campaign is saved, at this point the original schedule needs to be scrapped. He argues that a new 2012-13 schedule would have to be made from scratch anyways and acknowledging that the old schedule is gone would “alleviate the artificial deadlines.” (Sportsnet)

Senators president Cyril Leeder said his team makes an effort to talk to people who wish to cancel their season tickets and “convince them to stay with us.” Leeder reports that less than 1% of season ticket holders have ended up canceling, although the exact figure is hard to determine.
