Again, the NHL is fully aware of this fact, and are quietly smiling as players lose what little leverage they had. This is why they are patiently waiting for the NHLPA to make a concession. After all, they did it at about this point in the 04/05 lockout, (Dec. 9, 2004) when Goodenow announced the 24% rollback. You can bet that Fehr is facing the same internal pressure to get a deal now that Goodenow felt then. Fehr won’t make a move that big, but you can bet that he will be willing to offer some concessions in the next 24/48 hours to get a deal.

This guy must have Alexander Radulov as the benchmark for all NHL players coming to play in the KHL. We all know that Radulov quickly adapted to the style of play in the NHL when he returned to Nashville for the playoff”s last season.
