Not sure what it is down there Joey I think maybe the fact that they are left alone in obscurity with no expectations or external pressures such as fans and media and all the hype that surrounds most other teams.

So the owner gets paid $320 million to use the arena? Let me guess, the books will show that the money is under expenses. It’s creative bookkeeping like this that makes the owners’ arguments in the CBA negotiations very suspect. Unbelieveable. So the public is paying for a team to use an arena that was already paid for with public funds? Am I missing something?

With all the adversity the Coyotes face with lack of ownership,low budget and playing home games with small crowds in the desert. Yet they manage to go deep in the playoffs. Then you look at the Leafs, the wealth and rabid fan base located in the middle of Canada and no playoffs during this last expired CBA and no Cup since back to the year of Expo and black and white TV for most folks.Uncanny
