Hey Blomfield, everyone is aware the Kings won the cup last year, why does every article/comment have to revolve around how it affects the Kings fans ? Up until a few years ago there weren’t a great number of you. Put together a solid decade of competing before declaring your dynasty. You remind me of all the Islander fans in the mid 80′s who haven’t rooted for their team since. LA fans are notoriously fair weather, too much sun and medical marijuana to be real hockey fans.

I thoroughly enjoyed watching the Kings in the playoffs last year since my team didn’t make it. They played an exciting brand of hockey. I feel for their fans since the banner raising has been put on hold. Nothing beats playoff hockey as many new fans to the game last year can attest to. Too bad the NHL has to start over again in gaining those casual fans back.

As we know, he has no problem throwing around insane amounts of money for players. I don’t think hes one of the GMs dragging this thing out.

Not to mention the Rangers were going to have a very good team this year. Throwing away and entire season with a potential cup contending team isn’t worth the few million an owner might save from this mess.
