Eskin Tweeted tonight saying he came back to US with neck injury but fine and not happy playing overseas.

This was my worst fear when players started announcing they were signing outside the NHL. I hope this means Giroux is done playing overseas. If there’s actually a season we have no shot without him. Since apparently Ed Snider really wants this lockout to end this should provide extra motivation for him to talk some sense into his fellow owners. I’m sure G won’t be the last big name to get injured, and if the owners really care about their product there should be extra incentive there to end the damn lockout.
