Haha this lockout is such a bummer. They r loosing so much fans and members and young kids who ate fans and watch with their families and fall asleep before the game is even over. They are really killing my sons feelings because of the lockout. Thanks alot Bettman.

I grew up on the east side of Montreal playing hockey in the street with my friends, I’ve been avidly watching the game on TV since 1967, I’ve attended more NHL games “in person” than you’d find “Wongs” in a Chinese phone book and today my stupid “ex” is “involved” with a Canuck’s legend ! Now if “I” don’t qualify as a legitimate and informed fan according to your rating system, then I suspect that neither do at least 99.9% of the other people posting here. FU jerk and thank your lucky stars that this forum is only of an “electronic” bouquet !

Ron and friends – I have to say that I was laughing myself yesterday when I first read these “blomfelb” posts. Today however I’m not laughing, as I am detecting a certain “malice” behind this imposter’s writings. As far as I’m concerned, fun and “good times” should always be the order of the day, not discord or upset. There’s another poster who’s recently come on here at PHT called Mississippimudslinger. Again it’s a shame, as all he does is attempt to insult and injure people with his vile and meaningless quips. Anyway, I’ve always felt that the best policy is to simply ignore negative individuals like them.

I think we’d “all” like to see the little weasel go ! … and he likely will, though that’s probably still a ways off ? In the meantime however, it’s imperative that he gets his way in-order for the game we know and love to continue. The alternative is simply “unthinkable” as I do genuinely fear that the damage could prove to be irreparable. The loss or relocation of 3-4 “sunbelt” teams wouldn’t be such a bad thing. However I suspect that a cancelled season will do far greater damage than that, sad to say.

The only way for “impeachment” to ever legitimately enter the conversation here, is if this impasse results in the entire season being lost. For were that to happen, then the consequences to “all” parties are going to be “catastrophic” to say the least. The economic landscape of 2012 is quite different from what we had back in 2004, with disposable income today on the “retreat” everywhere you look. Anyway, Bettman knows that better than anybody else and so that’s highly unlikely to occur. What I see happening now, is a concerted push to get this thing resolved asap. Tomorrow night’s meeting is going to be interesting, eh ?

Of course these names are fake and they should in no way be confused with either “yours truly” or blomfeld. blomfeld already has a good handle on who’s behind this little caper. But for good measure, he has also asked his old friend “Stransky” to take a look into this (ie: Stransky is a physicist and an expert in forensic causation analysis) and he’s assured blomfeld that he’ll have the name of this imposter within 48 hours, with a margin for error of “plus or minus” 2.5 hours. Here’s an idea. Get rid of both The Fehr Brothers and Gary Bettman! Replace the Fehr’s with either Nicklas Lidstrom or Steve Yzerman, then make Bill Daly the Commish. It’s a win-win for everyone

Genocide and a hockey lockout are really two extraordinarily different things. A LOT of people died, most in ways too horrific to imagine. You want to go on your rants, okay. That’s your right. Just please show a tad more taste & awareness and keep your references Star Wars based or whatever other TV or movie franchise you can find you tube clips for.
