Of course these names are fake and they should in no way be confused with either “yours truly” or blomfeld. blomfeld already has a good handle on who’s behind this little caper. But for good measure, he has also asked his old friend “Stransky” to take a look into this (ie: Stransky is a physicist and an expert in forensic causation analysis) and he’s assured blomfeld that he’ll have the name of this imposter within 48 hours, with a margin for error of “plus or minus” 2.5 hours. Once this imposter has been identified, then suffice it to say that he/she will be “dealt with” quickly and ruthlessly.

It’s been consistently reported from the beginning that Snider was a Hardliner in these talks and he is a firm Bettman supporter. . Anybody who bought into that report the other day is a fool. Snider was the one quoted in an earlier NY Times piece that Bettman is essentially running the league.

no.no.no. when the flyers built corestates/wachovia/wells fargo[insert bank name] center and snider need an partner to take on the cost. So came in comcast. snider has 50%+ ownership of flyers, corestates/wachovia/wells fargo center. comcast i believe comcast has a 45% stake in the flyers, comcast sportsnet etc.

the reason why nhl is on nbc is because snider hate the way espn was treating nhl so they created vs then nbc sports net. the main reason why nbc sports net exists is because of nhl and nbc was told by nfl to create a sports network so nfl can sell their brand. look what fox sports is doing. they are re branding the speed channel into fox sports one to have nfl type programs on that station as well.

1. How is Ed Snider the “owner” of the Flyers. He doesn’t “own” comcast does he? He is an employee, No? Comcast is a public corporation.

2. He should, however, have the necessary oomph to end this since all the NHL games are on Comcast/NBC networks.

I never once believed that all of the owners wanted this lockout. Too many teams are doing just fine and are too successful to want a stop in business. Rangers, leafs, Habs, flyers, kings, Canucks, Blackhawks, red wings, etc dont want a lockout. The league just needs to adopt a revenue sharing plan for sharing the revenue brought in for all apparel sales and merchandise. Divide this money up evenly amongst all teams to help out the teams who don’t bring in the cash.

Just as I predicted this was nothing but “fool’s gold” wishing from The Don & his NHLPA daydream believers. Gary & the powerful & just owners are fine waiting this thing out so buckle up. Try the old divide & conquer approach Der Fehr? Well like the mighty allied forces the NHL & Mr. Bettman aren’t standing idly by while you continue your flea circus. I think we’ll either have hockey eventually or not at all.
