Are they going to be stubborn to the point of losing a whole year’s salary? Is it possible that the players caught to GB’s act. I mean the ownership didn’t start negotiating seriously until a week ago. Why? Are the profits over Oct and Nov so small that the teams begin to see red ink only in Jan? Was eliminating training camp a ploy to save money? I’m really questioning the integrity of all parties. I m just staying hopeful that better judgement will prevail and both parties will compromise. Dream a little dream!

Meanwhile the cap went from < 40M to over 70M, although it should probably be around 60M. I will keep saying it, the only reason we don't have hockey is because the players won't suffer the humiliation of their $5M contracts worth $4.5M.
