How about a 72 game season EVERY YEAR? Three games against teams in conference (ditch the divisiones)
Two games against teams in the other conference.

Crosby shouldn’t even be saying this. He’s almost teasing the fans (unintentionally, I’m sure) into thinking there will be a season soon. I’d rather him be honest and say, “It doesn’t look good. We’re probably going to lose the season and we hope the fans can forgive us and come back when this settled”.

Got nothing against Crosby, but you’ve got to reach an agreement first! And I don’t see that happening anytime soon. What a shame that such a great sport is also easily the most mismanaged and most lacking in leadership from its figureheads. The NHL needs a Pete Rozelle-type commissioner.

You’re a “good” guy Crosby …

As an ardent and values-driven LA Kings fan for 39 years, I have no problem stating the truth … Sidney Crosby is a “good” man and the NHL is very wise to have him as the face of the league ! As I’ve stated before, my only real knock on the guy are his FBI-styled interviews. He should try a lighten up and speak a little more from the heart as opposed to the brain. This was always my main beef with Tiger Woods. Despite his brilliance on the course, he always came across in interviews as being cold, calculating and generally insincere. In recent times however, he’s changed that completely, now being a much more “honest and genuine” person … and you gotta like that !
