Well – its a position where consistency is as important as skill, and no one can claim Bryzhgalov is consistent, but damn, I just love the guy. When he plays well, he’s brilliant, if he could get that consistency working for him, he’d be worth every dime. He’s so freaking funny, though, you have to love how he’ll just say whatever he’s thinking – no internal editor. Luongo’s seriously inconsistent and had diva-level temper tantrums when he plays badly. Bryzhgalov hangs his head like a 6 year old and says “why you are asking me this? it’s the worst day of my life, I lost the game for my team. This is terrible” When he plays well, he gives the credit to his teammates.
Course, he’s not the goalie for the Rangers or the ‘Canes….

So let me get this straight… Steve Mason, Rick Dipeitro, Dan Ellis, Dwane Roloson, and Brent Johnson are all better than Loungo, Kipper, and Bryz? Bryzgalov really has been the target of the media, hes not wrong about that. That is what happen though when you make a lot of money, and… well, suck.

Sorry but theres no other way to put it. Bryzgalov has been terrible since signing with the Flyers last year. If he wants the media to stop writing bad stories about him, its very simple…. play better.

This is simply “hilarious” man and it’s the main reason why I love coming here to PHT … good times ! Yeah, it’s a real shame that we’ve lost all these Russians to the KHL eh ? LOL ! The irony however is that it actually is a shame that “Bryz” can’t stay on there permanently CSKA Moskva … at least from a Flyer’s perspective !
