Sutter is great penalty killer and much better 5 on 5 scorer. The pens have a great D, Martin just needs to step up and find his game. The pens will be force if this season is saved and God forbid any of our Guys get hurt over seas. Pens have nothing to worry.

Granted it happened at the worst possible time, I still think it will be better than it was in the playoffs. Not as good without Staal but still one of the best in the league.

Did you know Staal was on the ice for 11/12 of the PPG the Flyers scored in the playoffs? Adding Sutter, who is 100% a defensive forward will be just fine. Also, Staal isn’t the best defensive forward in the NHL, he has never even won a Selke.

Fleury’s swiss cheese pads in the playoffs was a large part of the problem, the world is not ending, everything will be fine.
