Yeah ? ... well I gave yours the thumbs up ! :)

First of all, I included "Our Man Quick" just to bug the Kings haters :) But seriously, any "all time" greatest list of keepers must always exclude the Michelin Men ! Now of course we know that Brodeur, Roy and Hasek were all great ... but it's simply not "fair or correct" to put them in the same league as the "true" pioneers of net minding. What Plante and Sawchuk did in their day was "infinitely" more courageous and cutting edge than anything your Michelin Men could ever claim. These guys today are pansies, all decked out in their high-tech "bomb disposal" suits. You simply can't compare them to someone like Gump Worsley, who while "maskless" had to face nuts like Bobby Hull with his 120 mph slap shot ! It's not even remotely comparable friend ...

I downthumbed your list. I'd put Martin Brodeur, Dom Hasek and Patrick Roy ahead of Worsley, and it is way too early in Quick's career to have him on an all-time list. And while I totally agree that Hall was one of the very best goalies ever (and was thrilled to meet him!!), and believe his record of 502 consecutive games will never be matched, I'm not sure that it speaks well of the Blues that his 171 total games for them still rank him among their all-time best goalies. Especially with his most memorable moment being one that got past him, by a chap named Orr in OT in 1970.

I also find it strange that he wasn't in there already ? Anyway, better late than never, eh ? Hall is definitely one of the greatest goaltenders of all time and no doubt he's on everyone's list when speaking about the "best" ever. My list for example is as follows:

1) Terry Sawchuk
2) Jacques Plante
3) Vladislav Tretiak
4) Glenn Hall
5) Gump Worsley
6) Jonathan Quick
