Jagr ranks among Czech Extraliga’s top scorers

Jaromir Jagr might be deeply disappointed about the lockout, but if his five-point Sunday performance is any indication, he’s making the most of things for Kladno in the Czech Extraliga.

One might even say that he’s “owning” a league where he owns a team.

That one-goal, four-assist performance bumped his season total to 26 points in just 16 games, ranking him fifth overall in league scoring (and just two behind temporary teammate Tomas Plekanec).

There a few other interesting bits to ponder from Jagr’s run, which included today’s 7-2 pounding of Chomutov.

There’s no way to know for sure if Jagr’s strong work overseas would translate into another productive NHL season, but Dallas Stars fans likely wish they could find out.
